Help Support the Karate for Life Foundation in our 2008 Fundraising Drive.
The Karate for Life Foundation is a registered not-for-profit corporation whose aim is to promote life skills development and battle HIV/AIDS in the African nation of Uganda through the mental, physical, and spiritual training inherent in the practice of the martial arts.

Our aim for 2008 is to bring Felex Forward (pictured above with K4L founder, Eric Parsons) to the US this summer to continue his martial arts training and also take courses at Blue River Community College with the goal of obtaining a post-secondary degree. Felex is a primary school teacher in Uganda and also a certified anti-HIV/AIDS educator with two years of karate-do experience. He was also the student leader of the Bushenyi Primary Teachers’ College Karate Club and, as such, will be responsible for passing on the training he receives to his fellow Ugandan sempai and peer educators upon his return to the country.
